January 2007 - Dwyer featured in new documentary

Benjamin Dwyer is the featured guitarist and composer in a documentary entitled Five Swords at the Crossroads directed by Brian Kavanagh. The film subtly explores the relationship between the performing guitarist and the craftsman (Joaquín García) who makes his guitars. Shot in Andalucía, Dublin and London, and containing interviews with García and Dwyer, Kavanagh highlights the place of the guitar in the broader modern classical and contemporary context. The new documentary will be premiered in Dublin in April 2007. More details to follow.
